Oh winter sports lovers of all genres, Island Pond and the Northeast Kingdom is very much a wonderland covered with a thick blanket of snow over the past several days.
Yesterday we received at least 4 or more inches of packy wet snow interspersed with a little rain. Today I'm waking up to atleast four more inches of snow, and things are looking sweet if you're into the white stuff. :cardinal
I expect this will be a very busy weekend in Island Pond because the snowmobile trails are looking great! I went skiing at Burke yesterday and it was a fun day there too. If you haven't made your trip to Island Pond yet this year to snowmobile, this is going to be fantastic weekend with PRIME conditions. I am going to post a few pictures as soon as I get the driveway plowed.
Yet another 2 hour delay to the start of school day for my kid, and another total snow day for many more.
